Hello Bulldogs! My name is Paige Haefer, and I am a senior Human Communication and Organizational Leadership major, with Sociology and Strategic Communications minors. As your SGA President, I am committed to serving our student body by representing every student through organization involvement, academic college, residence life, and class year. Beyond representation within the student Senate, I am committed to learning about the personal needs of the student body through office hours, student dinners, and town hall discussion. I became a part of our Student Government Association to give back to the Butler community and serve as an advocate on our campus. SGA is only successful with your help. Get involved! Apply for a committee, run for Senate, attend our events, and bring concerns to your representatives. Any and all involvement will lead us to the best representation for all Bulldogs!
Beyond SGA, I enjoy exploring Indianapolis and attending various Butler events- I love meeting new students so please feel free to say hi if you ever see me out and about! People are my passion and I am constantly striving to learn more about members of my community. We each have a story that is unique and special to who we are and I love learning about each person’s unique journey.
Here at Butler, I believe we have a unique community because of the commitment our students have to involvement and living out their passions. I encourage you to find at least one campus organization to involve yourself in. If an existing organization does not speak to you, consider creating your own! Follow your passions or discover a new one and you will find your home in the Butler community.
I am always open to meeting with students and hearing about suggestions, ideas or concerns. Feel free at any to time to contact me via my Butler email at email@example.com. You can also follow me on Twitter and Instagram @paigehaefer.

Favorite Butler Memory
First Year Skits or Spring Sports Spectacular! I enjoyed participating in first-year skits. The opportunity to dress up in a funny costume, dance (even though I am a terrible dancer) at Hinkle fieldhouse, and ultimately bring home a victory remains one of my favorite moments in my Butler career! Spring Sports Spectacular is consistently one of my favorite memories because I love seeing so many Butler students participate. The range of competitions, from a dance off to oreo stacking to scooter racing to basketball, always provides a good variety of entertainment for all. Any event that brings together a big group of Butler students generally tends to be the most memorable for me!
